INVERMON PERFORMS AT WOOLWICH CARNIVAL 2026!

Okay, so I gotta talk about it…

I performed across three stages at Woolwich Carnival this year.

Same three songs each time: Hill View Drive, CLOCKIT. and Gaze on You, HEAVEN. On Powis Street, I added Madōnnā! into the set.

The Main Stage had one woman who stayed vibing with me through the performance. Later, at Beresford Square, I noticed children swaying to the rhythm of the songs. Those were probably the moments that stuck with me most.

At some point, I saw my name on the massive Woolwich Carnival screen.

Well. Almost.

They had me down as “Invermon.”

The common typo.

I've explained times without number; I’m INVERMON. All caps.

Still, seeing it up there should have been a “Mama, I made it! Woohoo” moment. And maybe for a second it was. But I already knew my name would be there, so by the time I actually saw it, some of the magic had already died.

I took the video anyway.

There’s something interesting about these events. What gets seen, what gets photographed, what gets remembered, and what quietly happens on a stage somewhere in between everything else.

I’ll leave that there.

I got paid £25 for the entire day.

Not exactly retirement money.

But technically, that makes Woolwich Carnival 2026 INVERMON’s first paid gig.
